About

Since its inception, Galsa has facilitated financing solutions ranging from $100,000 to $30,000,000 and accepted targeted mandates for operating companies. Our clients are private SMEs in manufacturing, distribution, construction, transportation, and services.

In 2004, Galsa structured $6 million in financing to support a client in the Maritimes with the acquisition of a U.S.-based company. This transaction marked the beginning of our Merger and Acquisition services.

During the 2009–2010 recession, the financial crisis of September 2011, and the economic challenges between 2011 and 2015—when a strong Canadian dollar made it difficult for clients to compete with U.S. companies—Galsa expanded its services to include Consulting and Training alongside Finance and M&A offerings.

Before founding Galsa, Andy Saharov developed expertise in business management, development, and financing. Over the years, our team has collaborated with specialized consultants in areas such as organizational development, lean engineering, tax law, and accounting. These collaborations have enabled us to provide generalist support tailored to the needs of business owners in the industries we serve.

Between 2010 and 2015, we delivered strategic planning mandates, corporate restructuring projects, team training, and other services. These experiences allowed us to create specialized SME-focused products, including Strategic Overview and Training in Strategic Management. These solutions are cost-effective, straightforward to implement, and designed to identify client strengths and weaknesses in operations, organizational development, sales, strategy, and finance.

To date, Galsa has facilitated several hundred million dollars in financing, managed numerous Business Acquisition and Sale mandates, and executed training and strategic consulting projects. We are well-positioned to help business owners address evolving challenges.
