Greg J. Hrabcak, CCIM, started his career with Group One Realty as a principal in a full-time capacity upon graduating from The Ohio State University in 1984. In 2008, Group One Realty was acquired by HER Realtors, central Ohio’s Largest Residential Real Estate Brokerage Company, to run their Commercial Division. Hanna Commercial Real Estate acquired and merged with HER in 2022. Greg has been involved in the sale and leasing of Commercial, Industrial, Investment, Retail, & Office real estate and Business Brokerage sales throughout Central Ohio. Companies that have been represented in these capacities include the Kroger Company, Inland Real Estate Growth Fund, Textron Financial Services, United Parcel Services, and Five Guys Burgers and Fries, to name a few.
In 2008, he served as the 100th President of the Columbus Board of Realtors. Greg served as the 2015 President of the Ohio Association of Realtors and as Vice Chairman of the Finance Committee of the National Association of Realtors. Mr. Hrabcak is a past President of the Columbus, Commercial, Industrial & Investment Realtors (1993), the Ohio Business Brokers Association (1992), the Columbus Real Estate Exchangers (1994), and served the Federal Political Coordinator for the National Association of Realtors for Congressman Troy Balderson (OH District 12) and Congressman Pat Tiberi, and is currently serving in the same position for Senator Bernie Moreno of Ohio. Greg served as the 2020 Regional Vice President of the National Association of Realtors for District 6, covering Ohio and Michigan.
In May of 2021, Greg successfully ran for and was elected as the Treasurer of the National Association of Realtors for 2023 & 2024. He will serve as part of the Leadership Team of Officers for the National Association along with the First Vice President, President Elect and President. The Treasurer of the National Associations of Realtors oversees the Finance Committee, the Reserve Investment Advisory Board and the Associations Budgets, Finances and Advocacy efforts. The National Association if the largest trade Association in America with approximately 1,550,000 members. Greg is serving as the President of the Realtors Relief Foundation for the National Association of Realtors in 2025 & 2026. The Realtors Relief Foundation is a charitable foundation providing financial relief to communities affected by floods, fires, hurricanes and natural disasters and helping rebuild lives and communities across American. The foundation has approved more than $49,000,000 in relief helping 25,000 families following disasters in 46 states and territories since 2001.
Professional awards received by Mr. Hrabcak include the Columbus Board of Realtors Salesperson of the Year (2012), the 2013 Columbus Board of Realtors/Business First “Largest Multi-family Transaction Award”, the 2018 Section 1031 Like-Kind Exchange Award and a 2013 National Association of Realtors National Award for Outstanding Achievement in the Commercial Real Estate Industry, amongst other Realtor Association Awards. He is also a member of the National Associations Realtors Political Action Committee Hall of Fame inducted in 2016. In 2021, Greg was awarded the Erika Blumenstien Memorial Award for professionalism and outstanding commitment to the commercial real estate industry and to the central Ohio community by the Columbus Realtors/Business First. He also was awarded the 2020 Largest Retail Lease.
Greg has taught real estate classes for the Columbus Board of Realtors, the Ohio Association of Realtors, the National Association of Realtors, and Columbus State University.
