The journey of BeaverTails started in 1978 with the first pastries sold in Killaloe, and a shop was opened in Byward Market Ottawa in 1980. The brand faced a major turning point in 2002 when Pino Di Ioia, Tina Serrao, and Anthony Di Ioia took over the management, sparking a new period of growth and expansion. By 2018, BeaverTails pastries were available at over 140 locations worldwide, including the U.S. and six international countries.
