Training & Support
Pre-opening Business Team—This team assists with all of the pre-opening steps, including site selection, build-out, marketing and training support, and more.
Business Consultant—Your Business Consultant will make sure you get on the fast track to growth. They will make sure your goals line up with your current operational, marketing, and training plans. On a monthly basis, you’ll have individual calls with your Business Consultant as well as regionalized calls with your franchisee peers. Ongoing, they are conduct site visits and regional training support.
Pre-Opening Training—In the months before you open, our trainers will prepare you and your key team members for a smooth opening. You’ll participate in an interactive training session at our corporate training facility.
Employee Training—Also prior to opening, you’ll learn our online training system which provides the tools you need to train your team and develop their skills. It takes a team member from beginning Instructor to Master Level Instructor. This proprietary system developed by our Curriculum and Training team ensures quality and continuity among The Little Gym franchises.
Ongoing Training—Once your gym is open, we continue to help you grow through regional and local training sessions that offer you and your team fresh innovative ideas and methods to operate your gym.
History
The Little Gym began as the idea of one man who wanted to do something significant for children. Robin Wes, a musician, former gymnast, and kinesiologist, created The Little Gym concept in 1976 to help children develop vital motor skills in a fun, musical, and non-competitive environment. Robin envisioned a place where children could reap the benefits of physical activity while enhancing their social, emotional, and intellectual skills. Today, his original vision serves as a springboard for life’s adventures and a fun franchise opportunity.
